Dispatch & Shipping Info

PRODUCT ONLY ORDERS


Your order will be packaged and dispatched within 2-3 working days and are in addition to the delivery time, but if you do need your order sooner please message me first and I will do all I can to accommodate your request.


Shipping times are those set out by Royal Mail and depend on which service you have chosen for delivery at check out. Please see the RoyalMail website for their delivery estimates, updates on any delays in your area, weather warnings etc, that may affect delivery times.

Once your parcel leaves my care I am not responsible for any delays by RoyalMail, but if you do think your parcel is taking longer than it should after checking for any delays in your area then please reach out to me and I will do all I can chase down your parcel.


Every care is taken while packing your order but sadly RoyalMail isn't always as careful when handling them. If your order should arrive damaged please contact me immediately with photos of the packaging and the damaged items and I will replace them for you.


We only ship within Mainland UK currently, sorry.


LIVESTOCK ORDERS


I only ship for arrivals on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and unfortunately you cannot choose which day/date as it completely depends on if your spider goes into moult, and if the weather and temperatures of that coming week are within safe parameters as well how many orders before still need sending. 

I will obviously try and give you as much notice as possible for which day it will arrive, but British weather being as it is, it could be a last minute decision, alteration, and even postponed to the following week/weeks if the weather is really bad. They are sent with a heat pack but these only work to a certain extent. 

I will not post spiders if the temperature is under 5 degrees Celsius.


Someone MUST be at the address to accept the delivery which is Royal Mail 1pm special delivery and sign for it. If you miss the delivery it could be fatal for your spider having to go back to a cold warehouse for at least another night, and also voids my live arrival guarantee.
I am happy to send your spider to an alternative address of a relative or friend if you can’t be home, it just needs to be brought inside out of the cold and ideally above at least 22 degrees Celsius until you can collect it later that day. This method will also void my live arrival guarantee unless the person accepting it is happy to open the parcel and check the on the spider without you being there.


The lives of my spiders come above everything else.


Unfortunately you are not able to come collect your spider from me in person. These are primarily my pets and as such live at home with me on a military base. It requires a lot of paperwork and security checks to get a civilian onto the base, especially for someone I do not know personally very well.


My live arrival guarantee is the following. The delivery of your order is tracked and means I get up to the minute notifications of when each spider has arrived and been signed for. If you haven’t contacted me within 30 minutes of your spider arriving to tell me that it was sadly dead on arrival then unfortunately I do not offer replacements or refunds.
I highly recommend taking a video/pictures of you unboxing your spider in case there is a problem as I will require proof that it sadly didn’t survive the journey before I will refund or replace it.
Once you have unboxed your spider and placed it inside the enclosure you have for it, my live arrival guarantee ends as I can't be responsible for any factors in or around the enclosure that could have an affect in the spider.
